Hopefully someone can try to help me understand what I'm just not
understanding lol. I'm trying to build our campus map here at the small
college I work for - I've gone into google's map maker and started to build
some of our campus buildings yadda yadda yadda, they show up if you search
the college on google maps - but when I pull the same location in via the
maps api - none of the buildings I've made show up rendering what I'm doing,
pointless...

Are the maps not the same? I've made the changes in map maker a few weeks
back, does it just take some time?

I've searched and searched and can't seem to figure out just what is going
on exactly, we had wanted to get this new campus map attached to our mobile
website that is launching soon - but are now on hold until hopefully someone
here can help answer what's happening?

I've also started to look down the route to making a custom overlay of our
current (pdf converted to an image) version of our campus map over the
google map - this worked (sort of) until you start zooming in and then it
all goes to heck - image gets all distorted. I tried reading up more on
custom overlays, but I'm just not finding much examples on how to do so - as
I followed the one example the API offers. Do I need to do something to
prevent the image getting distorted?

I know this post is kind of all over the place, but it's friday and im burnt
out.

Thanks in advance!
