I was wondering if it was possible to have an input field on a page that the user can type a location into and it first tries to do a "places" lookup using the api and if that returns no results then it tries to do a "geocode" lookup using the api of the location just incase the location isn't a place but its actually a street.
Has anyone got a sample of code for doing this because I'm struggling to try to mix the 2 apis on the same hmtl page? Sorry but I can't really put my code up at the moment because I haven't got an accessible webserver, just running on local machine.
