I'm using an ImageMapType with a custom projection. When I define custom markers that appear over my map, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
I've got a test you can look exhibiting the problem up at: http://mc.rjump.com/maps/temp/test.aspx One marker works (the one off the map) and one does not respond at all (the one on the map), as if it wasn't there, althought it's rendered visually. I haven't really isolated the problem exactly, but it seems when I used a standard mapTypeId (such as ROADMAP) markers respond as expected (hovering changes mouse cursor, tool tip shows, etc.) This all worked fine in 3.3. But that no longer is provided and 3.4 seems to be the first point at which this started failing for me.
