This will disable all pois
new google.maps.Map(mapDiv, {
center: new google.maps.LatLng(...),
zoom: ...,
mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP,
styles: [

featureType: "poi",
stylers: [
{ visibility: "off" }

]
});
