HI, I posted recently that I wanted to have an embedded "you are here" map with blue dot for use with an iPad based walking tour. I have a basic working version on our testing server here: http://centuries.digitalgizmo.com/team/walkingtour/afram_walkingtour/maptour_blue-dot.html (Thanks to http://plebeosaur.us/you-are-here-with-safari-on-iphone/ Created by Steve Stedman) Note: you will only see the dot on gps devices...
I also have ported a map I created in V2 code to V3. (Thanks to Chris Broadfoot for the geocodezip.com link) It doesn't have all the things I used to have. I'm hoping to get back my custom markers, kml overlay, and boundary and zoom restrictions. But so far so good: http://centuries.digitalgizmo.com/team/walkingtour/afram_walkingtour/maptour_kml_v3.html Now, my main goal is to merge these two maps somehow. The goal is to have my custom map with 23 markers, alongside the blue "you are here" dot. My javascript skills aren't so great, and my attempts to merge the code has been unsuccessful. Maybe someone can figure why I can't jive them. Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group.
