Check http://blogs.missouristate.edu/web/2010/05/12/google-maps-api-v3-developing-for-mobile-devices/ at the very bottom about viewports. Adding the proper meta tag should fix your rendering issue.
What exactly are you noticing as being incorrect? The map does this [http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16689706/shot_000008.png] when I load it on my Nexus S running a heavily modified stock Android 2.3.7 ROM. It does appear to have a viewport problem, as is a bit slow to render and update on scroll/tap input.
