When running tools like YSlow and Google's Page Speed it comes with
suggestions based solely on the fact that google maps is used ie

"The following resources are missing a cache validator. Resources that do
not specify a cache validator cannot be refreshed efficiently. Specify a
Last-Modified or ETag header to enable cache validation for the following
resources:

   -
http://maps.google.com/.../js?...<http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=true&libraries=adsense>
   -
http://mt0.googleapis.com/.../ft?...<http://mt0.googleapis.com/mapslt/ft?hl=en-US&lyrs=kml%3AcF86amGz4quBXSdbEtJmHkQA%7Cks%3A%3Bdc%3Aya%7Ckv%3A3%7Capi%3A3&las=tuvt,tuvu,tuvv,tuvw,tuwt,tuwu,tuwv,tuww,twtt,twtu,twtv,twtw,twut,twuu,twuv,twuw,twvt,twvu,twwt,twwu&z=4&src=apiv3&xc=1&style=api%7Csmartmaps&callback=_xdc_._ont20i&token=27597>

..."

and there is not much I can do about it. Should I not worry about this
since this is the way it should be? How come Google's own page speed
service doesn't acknowledge Google maps and makes me an advice to take care
of something of "high priority" when it's obviously nothing else I can do
but switching from Google maps to a local map and maybe I won't do that.

Any comments or ideas?

Thank you
/Nick Rosencrantz
