Si es posible tener en base de datos los puntos, almacenando las coordenadas y demás informacion y existen dos maneras de mostrar la info en el mapa... que cada vez que actualices la db generes el kml y los cargues desde el mapa leyendo el kml o que al cargar el mapa llenes arreglos con la info y los muestres a través de javascript. Si necesitas un ejemplo de la segunda opcion me dices Enviado desde mi BlackBerry de Movistar
