Hi there, I am not sure if i'm at the right place to ask - so please forgive me if i'm wrong haha :) I was searching google (AKA the whole internet) for a solution to my problem but i couldn't find what i needed.
What i seek for is the following: I need a Map on which you can enter one (or several) City-Names and it will display these cities boundaries. I've seen google and twitter using that and i wonder how i can do it. I've found some solutions where i would need to access external Databases, which would be okay, but they only provide geometric data for us-states and cities. But i need international (mainly swiss) data. So if anyone can help me with that problem would be awesome! I'm very new to the Google Maps API and i've only done some quite trivial projects so far - this now seems to expand above my abilities haha. Thanks a lot in advance to any reply.
