I am trying to develop a map application to record driving directions which involve multi-lane roads as places where the user clicks for path markers.
If user clicks on wrong lane the path will begin with a loop involving a u turn before completing the path correctly. The same can be true where the end marker is concerned (the path will involve a loop and a u-turn before returning to the spot on the road wanted). I'm sure this issue has arisen for many route direction applications. Can anyone point me to a place where I can research how to deal with the problem.
