I am trying to execute the dynamic map service example with my own map service. I have this example working very well in my environment when the URL variable points to the sample ESRI map service. However, when I try to point to my own map service, my data doesn't show up.
Even more perplexing, when I preview my map service's geometry in the service's ArcGIS Javascript Viewer everything looks good. However, If preview this service with it's Google Earth option, the evelope of my data is properly zoomed to but instead of displaying the geometry, a big "X" is displayed instead. Are their any gotchas that I may have stumbled in to while publishing my service? Anyone know how ESRI's sample map service was set up for this example? I want to make it so my map service is set up exactly the same way. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
