Joe, If you want to make more money from ads, I highly suggest using the facility to add ads to the map itself (Mapads). The payout is quite a bit higher than traditional ads (by about a factor of 5) and the ads are very relevant to the user due to their geographical context. It's a simple change to your code and well worth the effort. The ads appear as a small box in the corner of the map.
