Hello

I am a retired volunteer, developing an MS Access system for a small
non-profit organization that coordinates Volunteer drivers and
individuals in need of rides to medical and other critical
appointments. The system being developed tracks, schedules, and
reports on the volunteer driver’s time and distance driven, and the
distances that riders are transported.

I need to get an answer to a question about use of Google Maps Time
and Distance information, and whether our usage complies with the TOS.
If it does not comply, then I need to find out what we have to do to
make it comply!

The system is a batch process of low volume and runs on either a local
desktop or on a laptop. It is basically the automation of a process
that originally required manual interrogation of Google Maps for each
leg of each ride with the use of spreadsheets to record results.
Needless to say, that was exceptionally time consuming and subject to
inaccuracy. The new system, which creates schedules for drivers,
breaks down high level ride data into "legs" each with one start point
and one end point. Using a standard Google Maps API these "Legs" are
then sent to Google Maps. A Time and Distance result is returned. The
results are then used to create the schedules and reports regarding
the miles traveled by both passengers and drivers.

I would appreciate it someone could tell me the proper contact to
ensure that we are in compliance with Google requirements.

Thank you

John Baker
