Thanks for the bug report.  

Can you file a new issue 
at https://code.google.com/p/google-maps-utility-library-v3/issues/entry 
stating simply that markers don't show on iOS devices?  It should be fairly 
straightforward to add a check and avoid trying to load the rest of the 
library on these devices.
