hi Joseph, I'm also not happy that Google moved this to stackoverflow, cause I think stackoverflow in my opinion is just for experts and much more technical (JavaScript, PHP, SQL....) and I also didn't know that it is just for questions, not for discussions - though lots of questions turn into kind of discussions here. You can try to start a discussion concerning Google Maps API in the normal Google maps product Forum (https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/maps) - there are lots of people working with the Google Maps API. ralf
