I don't know whether this is of interest but I have already made a googlepages website which allows users to share their public albums. It does a reasonable job of obfustcating the album id's though not perfect. The page uses javascript and Google Docs' API and its Form as a way to share album info. In IE the album ID is visible in the loading information bar when pictures are being uploaded to the page. In FireFox you can use "View Page Info" to gain the id information. Not sure whether there are ways to suppress these, does anyone know?
