I was trying to obtain the number of albums for a user when I stumbled across the following problem. If I use the following format for the URL:
http://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/userid?max-results=0&access=public the openSearch:totalResults returns the total number of albums for the user not just the public ones. This violates privacy to some extent. In addition to this, the problem is that I needed only the public album count which I still cannot obtain.
