How did you configure proxy support?

Due to the way both the GData python client library and App Engine's
urlfetch work, this is probably not as easy as it sounds.  In
particular, the most difficult thing is usually  HTTPS proxy support
(which requires using the HTTP CONNECT method).  This is probably why
auth is being difficult.
