Hi there, I'm having real issues as my community based site is getting to big and as its free its hard for me to make enough money to get bigger servers to host all the images my community uploads. Basicly I run a clasifieds site where people give stuff away instead of selling it.
Can somebody tell me if the following is possible using the picasa web albums API. What I'm hoping to is buy 1TB extra space for my picasa acount. Then build a script that every time a user uploads an image of an item to my site its actually uploading it to my 1TB Picasa account without them knowing in the background. Then when other people are looking around the site at peoples items they are actually seeing images hosted by picasa. What would be even better is if on my picasa the images are set to private so they are not searchable through picasa but only on my site. So no one knows that its using picasa, Apart from the credit I would give google in a document somewhere. Anyway would this type of thing work? as this would really save my neck at the moment?
