Hello everybody, I am working on a web application that has a module for sharing videos and photos. Each user can host your photos and videos and share with other users of the system. I've been studying the integration with Google Picasa and Google Youtube.
Solution 1 - Create a single Google account. Enable Picasa service on this account and then, the application create an album for each user. Problem: How to control user access to the albums of other users? All albums are in the same Google account. Solution 2 - Prompt the user to create a Google account and then enable Picasa in this account. Problem: This process is inconvenient for the user. I searched in Google documents to see if there is a paid service that allows me to do this. I found nothing. Could someone tell me if there is any feasible way to solve this problem? I would like to use the Picasa infrastructure seamlessly integrated my solution. Any idea?
