I've looked over the API in many languages they support and none seem to offer the likes. I've also checked source code and none of them show any form of likes. You can of course get tags, comments, title.. no likes. They could implement it in the API but apparently havent... which im not really sure why. Could make it a feature request but not sure if they are continuing to develop this api or not since they do have google+
