Hello everyone!
I have developed commercial website, which uses Picasa API to display
pretty much all pictures on it. ( http://www.otdelkalux.ru/ ) I was blown
away by the possibility of getting resized images on the fly, and used this
feature a lot. Everything worked just perfect for a couple of months, but
today I saw all pictures gone. It looked like that:

I opened image in a separate tab and found this message: "403: Rate-limit
exceeded"

<https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-TacbyYcIYco/UGIQmCzDR8I/AAAAAAAAAV0/iE2twkKkPgw/s1600/403.jpg>

While doing my little research at the beginning of the development, I
didn't see any limitations on how many times can I have images loaded with
referrer header other than google. Today I have probably had around 10 000
downloads of pictures before I got that message.

Right now everything works back again, but I want to avoid this situation
in future. I don't mind paying for that amazing service, or maybe I can
just request google to increase daily quota for my domain? Any suggestions
on ho to do this?

Thanks!
