I've been using Picasa API for some datavis, and in particular I’ve been crawling locations of the photographs in Central London.
After re-running my script recently I got a completely different results, literally API stopped returning almost all photographs that are out there. Here is an example *(middle: crawling Central London in Mid 2013 ≈ 200K results, bottom: 3 Feb 2014 ≈ 2K results)* <https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-qlGEblBx7B0/UvACs9yCaAI/AAAAAAAABS8/G8Cn_s1SToY/s1600/Screen-Shot-2014-02-03-at-20.46.18.png> The API reference<https://developers.google.com/picasa-web/docs/2.0/reference?csw=1#Parameters>has not been changed, no warnings or disclaimers havet bee added. I am aware of an issue with max 1,000 items in a search result and overcome that by splitting my area into smaller regions. Search is done using a standard java library for Picasa. Any ideas what's with the API? Alex -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Picasa Web Albums API" group.
