Apologies if this is too far OT but I figure since there's at least one googler (besides myself anyway) on this list maybe someone has some state on this.
So this photo album that I finished touching up via the gdata API... I go to share it on G+ from Google Photos, and it just takes the first photo in the album. I don't see any control in the UI to change that. Anyone knows what gives? Also, I tried sharing the same album from picasaweb.google.com, and in the preview sharebox the cover photo *does* show up, but if you click on share it hangs and eventually gives an error message that it was unable to share (status 400 errors under the hood).
