This is in reference to Google's announcement about retiring Picasa and making changes to the API (https://developers.google.com/picasa-web/ and http://googlephotos.blogspot.com/)
Will PicasaWeb.com still exist? And most importantly, will my websites that use the API to access someone's photo albums still work? As a web designer, many of my clients update their own photos on PicasaWeb and the updates show on their websites immediately, even from their phone's camera. If this function disappears, I'll have a lot of angry clients, and there's nothing else out there that works nearly as well as Picasa (I used to use Flickr but the API wasn't as good). Here's one of my clients' websites that uses the Picasa API: http://kookandson.com/plumbing.html Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Picasa Web Albums API" group.
