As per version 3 of the API, they have removed album mutation.

Mutation support removed

Aside from uploads, mutation support will be removed from the API. The 
following functionality will no longer be supported:

   - Creating an album
   - Modifying the properties of an album
   - Deleting an album
   - Updating a photo
   - Providing your own video thumbnail
   - Deleting a photo
