Thanks for the input above. I will check it out. In terms of the resizing, I am not explicitly resizing the gadget with code. I am talking about resizing the gadget manually with the mouse. The reloading that occurs makes sense if the gadget is a graphic, but in many cases this is not the desired behavior (for example with the translation gadget).
