Hi there, The updating system seems to have developed a life of its own! I am not concerned other than to report a potential issue with the Google Servers!
I subscribe to changes to my sheet which is shared with a few other people.... however, I have received 55 email updates in the last 16 hours - when most of the people would have been asleep! Checking some of the reported changes shows cells that are linked to other spreadsheets and which are not normally edited. Indeed all of the generated emails report that:- A user made changes from 4/6/11 4:52 PM to 4:52 AM (British Summer Time) - Miscellaneous change (3) ... the user is not identified as it would normally be and the changes are noted as 'Miscellaneous' It seems to me that the links to the other spreadsheets are being broken momentarily which generates the email.... can anyone at Google please comment? thanks in anticipation.
