iChat's video conferencing feature is specific to iChat, so at this point, iChat users can basically only talk to other iChat users via XMPP. The standards are young but developing. So, there really is no standardized way to do video or audio chats via XMPP at this point. Its coming, but its just not there, yet, so for the moment, iChat only video chats to iChat via XMPP. > 1/26/07, JMcA <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > On Jan 15, 12:59 pm, "David Denhardt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > I know that iChat supports Jabber clients for chat but no video there > > > either. > > > Uhm, I think you need to double-check your assertion, there. > > > We've got folks in the office doing video chat with iChat via our > > in-house XMPP server just fine. > > > Oh, and intra-building video chat (read: fast ethernet end-to-end), is > > *very* nice. :) > > > Jeff --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "google-talk-open" group.
