It almost sounds like you're asking about making a local proxy of another
Jabber server.  I'm not sure how this would be more efficient than using a
tunnel to the desired server, or just setting up your own instead.

It's widely considered poor form to eliminate valid clarification questions
up front, especially when the question eliminated outright is directly
related to your goal.
