There's an inconsistency right now that started in the last several
days, maybe as early as Friday. Google Apps hosted domains with
proper SRV records seem not to be able to communicate with most (but
not all!) remote Jabber/XMPP servers for service (transport, agent,
MUC) access. This does not show up for actual gmail.com accounts,
which is rather confusing considering that they use the same XMPP
servers.

My GAFYD domain is "duh.org", and yes, the SRVs are correct (and I can
communicate via normal messages with users on other XMPP servers).
The symptoms exist on two other domains I help administer via Google
Apps, both also with SRV records properly implemented.

>From this domain via Psi or Spark, I can query/discover services under
bgmn.net, foxybanana.com, and jid.pl, but I cannot communicate with
jaim.at, draugr.de, or 2on.net (all three of which appear correctly
under a regular Gmail account like the one I'm using to post right
now). It's like something is not properly sending out the <iq> XML
stanzas for only some remote servers, but the inconsistency is
baffling.
