Hello,
I have created a Google Talk client. Under the worst case NAT
situation this client will make use of the Google Talk relay servers
(discovered via a "google:jingleinfo" query). However I have the
following problem when attempting to use the relay server...
When I send my STUN "Allocate" request, I get an error response from
the relay server, "Operation Not Supported". So I have the following
questions...
1) What should be populated in the "username" portion of the STUN
"Allocate" request? Is it a randomly generated string or should it be
something else?
2) When I perform the "google:jingleinfo" query to discover the relay
server I also get a "<token>" value. What is the meaning of this
"token"? Is it a "short term credential" used to authenticate STUN
"Allocate" requests? If so, how do I use it to correctly construct a
STUN "Allocate" request.
I really need help on this so if anyone can help me I would be forever
grateful.
-Steve P.
