I think everyone is a little frustrated. It's like shouting at the wall here. I don't think anybody at Google is currently reading this board, or they would realize that there are lots of people having problems. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the ONE person that was helping out here decided to change jobs or leave Google and no one has picked up the ball yet. Personally, I'd like to think that they are hard at work getting the gadgets updated to work with the new format and they just don't have any answers yet, but a simple not to that extent here would go a long way.
I've noticed that the gmail gadget operates quite differently in the new format and it still has quite a few bugs, but it looks promising.
