The new iGoogle layout with tabs in the far left of the main content area offsets the gadgets and makes for a very awkward layout design. The type in the tabs is also too large and could be bumped down in size and still be readable, the size it is now is too distracting.
The only redeeming factor of the new left-side tab menu is that tabs no longer obscure/intrude into the artists theme backgrounds (iGoogle artists now probably THANK YOU). What would be a far better layout than having tabs on the far left, though, is to keep them on top but below and out of the background theme image area. This way, the tabs will be more easily recognizable (since we generally read left to right, rather than top to bottom) and it would not create an awkward offcenter main content area for gadgets like tis is now. clickstop32 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Themes API" group.
