i have had my theme updated twice, but that was ages ago before google started getting really backlogged with new themes. they should really close the submission process and reopen it once they have cleared the backlog.
as far as deleting a theme i have had no luck with that. some idiot pirated my code and submitted it without my permission and i have been trying to get it removed for a while now.
