This is best done in your own handling logic for the returned
translations. It should be a few lines of code in various languages
(split chars to array, index items and return value) can get you a
count of the characters returned for the translation so that you can
perform any necessary regular truncation. This is how I do it in my
use of the services. What scripting/ core language are you using to
process the returned translations?
