I found a WORK AROUND. I did this using firefox but think it would
work with other browsers. Once you have translated a page, save it as
an html, then open in word (see NOTES below). In firefox:
File --> SavePageAs --> WebPageComplete
RightClickDownloadedWebage --> OpenWith --> Word (Microsoft)
NOTES:
1) I had a seperate header section which was the google translator top
of page, so when I printed at first it only printed this out. If I
put curson below header part in main body of page, it then just
printed what I wanted, without google traslator header. While cursor
was there I selected all (Ctrl-A) and then pasted (Ctrl-V) into a new
word document, which I saved as my clean copy.
2) As a side note if you want to translate documents and retain
formatting, I found the procedure below to work:
upload a word doc or pdf to the below internet site, then click view
http://viewer.zoho.com/Upload.jsp
convert uploaded file via google translator (below site) by pasting
the web address
you viewed document from (above window opened from zoho.com)
http://translate.google.com/
Select all the text (double click or Ctrl-A) and copy (Ctrl-C), then
paste
it into a new word document (Ctrl-V). This will results in a
translated document
that retains formatting (mostly, some tables will have to be
recentered).
then delete uploaded file from original window on zoho.com
(if not done you could have selected keep for 1 day, and then it will
delelte itself)
