Hi,
I need to use the Google Translate tool (specifically, the Language
API) for translating sets of place names. These place names can be
countries, cities or towns. I'll be translating from English into a
number of languages.
Is there any way for me to specify, to the tool, that I want to
translate a place name?
This would avoid things like 'China' being translated to 'Porcelana'
in spanish.
I have heard that there may be a certain 'geo-awareness' in results;
in the same way that results for a particular word translation are
grouped into, say, 'Dictionary' and 'Noun', might there also be a way
to get a Geographical translation of the word?
