I wanted to see if Google could handle input in romanized Chinese, as well as giving it as output. So I pasted in something I got from a previous translation: wǒ rèn wéi nǐ yǐ jīng yǒu le and used "detect language" -> "Norwegian". I then got the message "We are not yet able to translate from into Norwegian." Looks like it recognizes pinyin, but it hasn't got its name variable properly set :-)
