the translation is often completely off (sometimes in very funny
ways), because it seems that the context - in the translated page - is
ignored.

for example, in a page about cows, bulls, bull markets, bovines,
animal market, etc, the term "bull market" is still being translated
into "marché haussier" in French, which means "Upward (financial)
market", i.e. "financial bull market" - which is completely off!

the right translation for "bull market" is "marché aux taureaux" when
the context is about the animals.

it seems the google translate just takes the expression out of context
and looks for the statistically most frequent translation, regardless
of the context.
