many users will use translate in both directions. my suggestion when typing a word or two is producing "not found" results, ie the translation is identical to the input. AT LEAST signal "not found" in some way. In my normal pair French English it is quite possible that the same word is used in both languages. I think that there is now way to distinguish between "same words" and "not found" OR BETTER attempt the translation the other way round, and display the result if "found" Thanks google for this terrific feature, making a real difference to my life in a new country.
