I agree that Latin would be useful.
But which Latin ?
Classical Latin ? Medieval Latin ? Church Latin ? Medical/
pharmaceutical/plant Latin ?
Apart from that, it would be useful to lots of people; medical people,
patients, family historians, vicars, and all those like me who learned
Latin at school but have since forgotten most of it.
I remember in the last week of term, we had to translate nursery
rhymes into Latin and sing them.
That was fun, quite hilarious; and I've since done it in other
languages.
