Currently Google Translate is not able to translate application/xhtml +xml documents. It returns this message: "Sorry, the page you requested contains a file type (application/xhtml+xml) we are unable to translate." What is the problem with this file type? AFAIK text/html and application/xhtml+xml documents are pretty similar.
