Japan has a counting unit of 10,000.
In Japanese this is 万 in kanji, written "man" in romaji and pronounced
"mahn"
The Japanese Yen kanji is 円

When prices are expressed without use of the 万 character they will
translate correctly.

e.g. 550,000円 will correctly translate to 550,000 yen.

However when the same price is expressed with the 万 kanji - which is
typical the following error occurs:

55万円 will incorrectly translate to 55 million yen.

This error doesn't occur with the Google Translate translate box, but
occurs when webpages with prices are translated.

I've repeatedly Contribute to a better translation, but even after a
year the error has not automatically corrected.

Could someone at Google manually correct this important error?
