hello, i want to know if Google saves the information used for translation in the Google database.
our company has a headquarter in US, and now finding a better way to save manpower cost for translation, Korean to English or vice versa, to communicate each other. today afternoon, we found this cool service that provides quick translation, even though it has rough expressions. however, we cannot find the information regarding how Google handles the information people use for translation, otherwise there is a 'policies on privacy' showing on the bottom of the mainpage of the website. in addition, the users have no way to know about the policies since this service doesn't need a log-in for users, so we can use this service without any agreement to terms and conditions for use. if the employees of our company use this service, we might translate the documents containing confidential information. to wrap up, we want to comfirm that if Google saves the infornation we types/uploads for translation or doesn't. i will appreciate if you respond to this questionnaire ASAP. Thank you for your time and effort. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
