Having followed this forum for some weeks now, I doubt there is much hope of having a suggestion adopted, but hope springs eternal (and some feedback from Google would certainly help).
When Google Translate is called in automatic mode to translate a web page, it would often be helpful if the original language were identified, as this is not always obvious to the reader.
