Actually an even better translation would be "daughter of a bitch"
like the familiar English expression "son of a bitch". Possibly a
description of a nasty female boss. I was always led to believe that
بنت was used to denote descent (like bin/ibn) although it could be
used for "girl".
I have constantly been bewailing the lack of generics. Suppose I said
بن الكلب - son of a dog. A nasty male boss. The feminine is the SAME
expression. Google's main crime is in fact getting countries wrong. I
should be able to denote an expression as {country}. This is where the
majority of odd translations have occurred.
Hutter and Legg have stated that the metric for AI is compression.
This implies that an intelligent system will try to systematise rules.
Try to deduce grammar and generics. On that basis Google Translate is
singularly unintelligent, and according to Peter Norvig their research
director proud of it.
