Every time I open up a webpage that is in Scots Gaelic (or just plain Gaelic, as we call it) the Google Translate bar pops up asking if I want to translate it from Irish.
I'm not heart broken that Google Translate (which is, IMHO, an awesome innovation) hasn't yet gotten around to learning the difference between Irish and Scots Gaelic. I admit that they do have strong similarities. However, it would be nice if they had an "other" option in their pull down menu for feedback. If the language the webpage is using isn't on the list, there is no way to let Google Translate know that they have interpreted it incorrectly. What's the point of providing a means of feedback, if you can't actually use it to give feedback? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
