Within the last few days (2 days?) I have had trouble with the Google
Toolbar ( Version Version 7.1.20100701W) in my Firefox browser
(Version 3.6.6) translating pages from English to Spanish. It is not
every page that gets translated - and I am not trying to translate the
pages.

I saw an option come up to read some other reports - sounds like my
problem. Here is what I have tried:

- Signed-out (the right hand side of toolbar has a icon to sign in/
out)
- Double-checked my Translate settings
- Restarted my browser
- Signed-in again
- Double-checked Translate settings again AND they had changed back to
what I had before!
- Restarted my browser after each change of settings

I thought I had deleted the translation tool icon, but maybe not -
because it is still there!

Other things I noticed -

When I first checked / changed my settings, my default language was
set to Chinese. ??

Also, this all took place at the same time I started having search
results in Google Search be redirected to ads or unrelated pages. I
cleared that up with Zone Alarm Extreme. But that is back today also!
Could this all be from the toolbar having been infested with some
malware??

Sorry to write such a long and vague message, but I am lost!
