Hi, I'm a Dutchman living in Sweden, therefore I use the translation at times to search for Swedish words. It's a great tool, but there's a bit of a mistake at the Swedish side...
In Sweden the people have learned that the word Netherland is old fashion and one should say Holland, which is of course wrong, totally wrong. Where I can and feel for it I try to teach the Swedish people I meet in my life the difference between Holland and Netherland.. which isn't always that easy. Now it's like this: In the Swedish translator of google the Dutch language is called holländska, which I would rather see changed to Nederländska, because that's how the language is actually called. Perhaps we the other Dutch in Netherland are a bit to calm for our own good. You wouldn't tell an Irish that he lives in England would you? Holland is a province (ok, two provinces) not a country.
